Sensei Christopher W. Myra
Sensei Myra has been a Martial Artist for twenty one years. At the age of nine he began to study under Sensei Raymond Cooper (Lieutenant/Retired), United States Navy. Sensei Cooper taught in the system of Dux-Ryu Ninjutsu.
Sensei Myra earned his black belt at the age of seventeen. During his years of training, Sensei Myra received his black belts in Taijutsu and Koppojutsu, and has also trained privately from 1996-1998 in American Kickboxing with “The Iceman” Jean Ives Theriault, 23 times world kickboxing champion.
In 1998 Sensei Myra became a Canadian Forces unarmed combat instructor and in 2000 upon deployment to Bosnia he was given the task of Operational Personal In command (OPI) Unarmed Combat for Camp Drvar.
In 2005 Sensei Myra Completed the Fierce Israeli Guerilla Hand to hand Tactics (F.I.G.H.T) system, training him to the level of Level two Instructor in the system of Haganah which encompasses two different fighting arts Krav Maga and Hisarduandt and was also qualifided under the United States Army Ranger school as a CQC instructor the same year.
In 2006 Sensei Myra retired from the Canadian armed forces after a decade of devoted service and numerous operations abroad founding his own fighting system Fudoushin Bujutsu, using this system he began to fight professionally in the Mixed martial arts world competing with organizations such as King of the Cage, FreedomFight and W-1.
Sensei Myra currently trains with a number of get MMA fighters working jiu-jitsu, muay thai and wrestling into his daily regime.
Sensei Myra was recently graded to his second degree under Hanshi Frank .W Dux and certified as a F.A.S.S.T /DUX Instructor by Shihan Sky Benson, making him the first Canadian Martial artist to instruct master Dux’s philosophies in Canada. Sensei Myra continues to train in the ninpo sprit and works to broaden his martial skills, to constantly better himself and his students through teaching and training as a family.
